Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.5/100, a mean average of 72.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 16.2.

Não muito inovador, mas muito bem feito. Gostoso de ouvir.
These Swedish sisters sing so beautiful together. Also a very good live performance.
This is their best album so far, however Stay Gold is also a nice one.
Best songs: Emmylou and the title track
And now Sarah Klang has taken over after First Aid Kit did Second and Third Aid Kits.
It's a promise! "Love In The Milky Way" is pure gold in this genre...
Quite low rated this. Basically what Gary and buzzdainer said. Theres nothing generic about the vocal harmonies. They hit points harmony wise that it seems is only possible between siblings and in that aspect very much is reminiscent of the everlys.
An absolutely gorgeous album full of excellent songs. You simply can't go wrong with this album. Brilliant record.
One of the things that makes this Swedish Americana album such a special project is the honesty that sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg bring to their status as musical and geographical outsiders. "Emmylou," while a tribute to the musical love affair between Emmylou Harris and Gram Parsons, also touches on the Söderberg sisters' desire to sing Americana harmonies from their native Stockholm. Very poignant, and they pull it off brilliantly.
Swedish charm. Irrefutable.
It's woodsy folk with lush harmonies that more readily evoke Boone, North Carolina than Stockholm's suburbs.
I like this a lot. I can see that it wouldn't be everyone's favorite, but its mix of joy and sadness gets me each time.
An outstanding album. A little top heavy as the first 4 songs a very strong and there's nothing until the last track that's quite on that level. That being said, best Americana album of the year by far.
