Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 5% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.4/100, a mean average of 75.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.4.

A weird combination of noisy yet party-oriented, almost anthemic even.
This is my all-time most listened to album, and for good reason. Dance-y noise rock will always hold a special place in my heart thanks to DFA 1979. Romantic Rights is permanently engrained in my soul.
Favorite tracks: Romantic Rights, Blood on Our Hands, Black History Month, Pull Out
this is kind of like one song 11 times. but the song is very excellent.
It's like dancing with a chainsaw. It's like being smashed round the head with a sledgehammer and enjoying it. Every track piles past you as rapdily as the next; the pacing is astoundingly good. Drudgy, dirty and rough, but also nimble enough to be tons of fun. This album kicks ass.
Criminally underrated.
No standouts, all are equally catchy and aggressive. All are 85s except Pull Out which got an 80 from me.
A highly enjoyable album if you're looking for something straight forward and incredibly fun.
You could stick the album in the vacuum cleaner next. It might gain sentience and then you can ride it as it thrashes about with the rage of all that's red and dead. It would be a lot less forgettable than other things one might do.
Looking back, I should probably stop commenting on albums while drunk. I don't even remember reviewing this. But at least I seem to be picking the right albums to drink to.
