Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 63.7/100, a mean average of 60.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 60.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 21.1.

With Eight mega hits across just their first two albums incl. 2 Number Ones, Four of these Top Ten smashes feature here. "The Power"(1), "Ooops Up"(5), "Cult of Snap"(8) and "Mary Had a Little Boy"(8). Other good tracks are "Believe the Hype" and "Witness the Strength. There were also two bonus tracks "Only Human" 7/10 and the excellent remix "The Power(Jungle Fever mix)" 10/10. Enjoy.

One song "The Power" does not make a great album and only Two mega hits across all albums with nothing else even close to being palatable.

Good house/dance/hip house album. Best 10 songs average is 78,0/100 and the album can get good 80/100. I'd rather prefer following album "The madman's return" of Snap!, that sounds much more matured. However best song is of course "The power" 90/100, followed by "The cult of snap", "Believe the hype" and "Mary had a little boy" all 80/100. Notable is "Blasé blasé" as an awful song.
