Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 78.1/100, a mean average of 78.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.3.

One of my favorite, if not my very favorite, live albums of all time. Incredible amount of energy by just there people (Elton John, Nigel Olsson, Dee Murray). Some really nice live renditions of Bad Side of the Moon, Burn Down the Mission, Can I Put You On, and especially Sixty Years On, which is better than the studio version.
An early live concert so no "hits" here, as has been mentioned the sound quality is not great and the final track needlessly goes on forever. There are better live albums " Here & There" being the best.
One of Elton's breakthrough shows in the USA. Shot through with the energy and dynamism that had never really been caught on his previous albums, but would now characterise his work in the '70's. Fits in perfectly with the singer-songwriter movement then happening on the West coast with 'cats' like Carole King, James Taylor & Neil Young, and with a dash of the heady influence of Jerry Lee Lewis to distinguish him, Elton was now set to dominate the American charts for the next five years.
Good selection of songs and good performances but crappy sound quality so if you can live with that and are a fan get it otherwise avoid it. Definitely not an album to use to introduce somebody to Elton.
