Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This is a welcome change after listening to so many punk albums, definitely a modern classic.... I love the vocals and guitar work..
Great album with hits after hits. It made me want to discover their whole discography.
Steve Perry joins the band and the start to move towards the Journey we all know. Features some of their first classic songs with Wheel in the Sky, Lights, and Anytime.
Journey's best album, the one that put them on the map. Much better than their subsequent albums, which were seemingly geared to young women and teenage girls. Why this album isn't thought of more highly I don't understand.
