An adult film containing many subliminal messages, masquerading as a simple children’s musical. Full of memorable songs, particularly the exceptionally atmospheric ‘Feed the Birds’. Musicals rarely reach this level of panache, all credit to the Sherman brothers.

The fact that this is a Disney kids' movie overshadows how brilliant it is.
This was released in 1964, not 63.
