Now here is a truly unappreciated, forgotten gem from a short-lived Australian band of the 90s. I go as far as to say that it is in the best handful of post-grunge albums ever made. The shredding guitars on this album are not only mosh-worthy, but are placed perfectly within the songs to pick them up out of a lull at just the right moment. I saw them live and they were a very energetic, and infectious sounding group. Their follow-up (despite rating higher on this site) was a bit middling and somewhat of a let down after the brilliance of Mint 400. And to top it off I don't think there are any songs on this album that I have ever felt the need to skip over when listening. I really hope it gets discovered again.
