Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 23% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.8/100, a mean average of 73.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.7.

Iggy working with Josh Homme in part a tribute to his 1976-1977 recordings with David Bowie is the best work he’s done since at least the early 90’s. Favorite tracks are Break Into Your Heart, Gardenia, American Valhalla and Sunday.
Album of the year, 2016
This is become one of my favourite Iggy album. Very, very good.
When you combine Homme's amazing instrumentation with Pop's vocal confidence, you get this stupid good record!
Good album!
Favorite tracks: Break Into Your Heart, Sunday, Vulture, Chocolate Drops
B+
Billed as his possible last album, PPD is a renaissance of sorts for the man, with the album revisiting one of his classic lp's - The Idiot. Whilst not as good, it is nice to hear him successfully come back with some of his best material in years.
Managed to capture the feeling of the rest of his discography suprisingly well.
Surprisingly solid. Carries on from The Idiot very well. Totally captured the vibe.
