Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some artists can have several thousand ratings)
This artist is rated in the top 15% of all artists on BestEverAlbums.com. This artist has a Bayesian average rating of 77.0/100, a mean average of 76.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.3/100. The standard deviation for this artist is 22.8.

One of the best hip hop collectives of all time. Only thing I can say negatively is playing only Wu-Tang can get old fast.
Wu-Tang Clan aren't just a pioneering, towering behemoth among hip hop legends, and the king's of Boom-bap. They are in an entire genre and league of their own.
The mythos, the vastness of their talent, the urban darkness of their production and the seemingly endless number of insane, spine-tingling moments in their music.
They're not an "essential" or "must-listen" artist; they're a necessity.
DEEP,DEEP,DEEP in every Rap fan´s heart. I heard voices, that the golden era ends with ATQC´s Midnight Marauders and 36 Chambers. I don´t think so, Rap goes Pop in ´96, but i digress. 36 Chambers : Best Rap album eva !!!!
By far, the greatest hip-hop group. Others may have had more influence initially (Run DMC, Public Enemy) or longevity (Beastie Boys, Outkast) but nobody had as much depth of talent as Wu-Tang. Powerful, provocative, funky. Enter the Wu-Tang is their greatest album, and Gravel Pit is their best track.
