Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 72.8/100, a mean average of 70.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 19.7.

They really need to take a look outside the US borders
58 of the 100 entries are from the USA, which left out a number of albums from abroad that had a better claim to be in this list.
Pet Sounds is trick played by Americans to try and knock some UK acts off these lists.
Good list not much to surprise you though
Tres bonne sélection mais trop d'artistes similaires, c'est dommage
Liked chart
Agree with most placings, 7 and 8 should be switched however.
I was expecting this to be hot trash coming from VH1, but this list is fine. Not awful, but not particularly adventurous either.
Good overall. However... WHERE IS COLTRANE!?!?
Rolling Stone's top 20 of their 500 was better than this. Good props to Sex Pistols and Nirvana but they were placed too high. I don't see these albums as better than London Calling, Highway 61, or Blood on the Tracks.
