Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 81.1/100, a mean average of 80.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.8/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 12.5.

Veryunique Chart with some interesting picks.
Great list so far! Can't wait to see the next 50!
It worries me to see Goo Goo Dolls.

Very Epic Chart
Realistically there's too much that I don't know here for me to give an honest rating but as the only person on this whole site to have a Willard Grant Conspiracy slbum I have to pay my respects. Nice to see Neil Casal making a few ripples in the BEA pond too.
Nice to see that you added Songs of Love to your chart. Thought that you'd like it.
I like this chart because you can tell the poster didn't give a fuck about other people's opinions.
A great idea for a chart, but I feel decade and year charts would normally cover the concept. I'd love to see your take on the albums you've listed.
Very different from the usual on this site. Completely different from mine (0 in common!). No matter - you have eclectic tastes, and don't follow the hipster crowd. Bravo!
I like the concept of your chart.
