Top 50 Greatest Music Albums by aijunk2
This really doesn't go in order at all. I just like to share my personal journey into the great, vast world of music. As you can see, I have a few albums that I rate low, but they are key for a reason. Like an example would be Linkin Parks' hybrid theory. I really don't like the album all that much, but it was an important step for me into the direction of good music.

Punk music pretty much created alternative rock. Marquee moon and unknown pleasure are one of the greatest punk rock albums ever! 9.5/10

I've listened to 3 full albums by Bob Dylan, and Blonde On Blonde might be the best. It didn't stand out at first, but now it does. 9.5/10

I listened to Is This It and Elephant at around the same time. They sounded very alike. That was kinda of a turn off. Over time, I can see the similarities but I can mostly see the differences, both being good. 8.8/10

Pixies may have not followed up the best since their release of Surfer Rosa & Doolittle, but Bossanova isn't bad in any way, shape or form. It isn't in the same league as the previous two, but it gets the job done. 8.2/10

And that's the beauty of rock music or alternative music. I'm not too big on industrial rock yet . . . but this album sure impresses the hell out of me. It keeps getting better with each and every listen. I can easily see this as being one of my favorites about two-three years from now, but as of now . . . 8.9/10

This is easily one of my favorite albums . . . I hear Pavement's other albums are either just as good or better. 9.3/10

People ask me, "what's your favorite pink floyd album". They are surprised when they don't hear either, "The wall, wish you were here or dark side of the moon". Instead, it's animals. Animals, Pipers at the gate and Meddle are underrated Floyd albums. And Animals is definitely my favorite. It would easily be my favorite by far, but sheep kinda ruined it . . . I know everyone hates sheep, but I like it but not as much as I do the rest of the pigs and dogs. 9.6/10 With sheep, Animals is almost beat by dark side . . . but it still wins by a small margin.
