Greatest Short Releases by ForegroundNoise

A love letter to those musical journeys that are cut intentionally short.

My criteria for 'short releases' is anything that runs under the half-hour mark, a distinction I justify over traditional album/EP differentiation in the following thread:

Since I spend most of my time listening to full length releases, this chart is (perhaps appropriately) extremely brief, so please feel free to recommend your favourite EPs/shorter albums before giving the chart a rating! I've extended the list to every short release I've given an 8/10+ on BEA. Others that aren't eligible as per BEA's album guidelines would include SPK - Mekano / Contakt / Slogun (1979), Yōran - Montparnasse (1981), Interpol - Interpol (2002) and Lil Ugly Mane - Uneven Compromise (2012).
