I've had this album on CD for several years and to be honest, I have not listened to it that much, mainly because I listen to a lot more vinyl than CD's! Having just bought it on vinyl and taken the time to properly listen to it, I have realised what I have been missing out on. Fantastic album, dark and more melancholy than [First added to this chart: 10/02/2022]

A really good album, underrated I think. I love the title track and the rest of the album has more of a flow than some of his work. Like the more funky element.

Excellent 'modern' prog album. The female lead singer has quite an unmistakable voice which has an air of innocence making this band quite unique. A similar style to Karnataka, Panic Room, Magenta, Mostly Autumn, all fronted by excellent female vocalists. [First added to this chart: 02/20/2022]

Modern Progressive- Whenever I put on a Radiohead album, I start thinking 'this is definitely my favourite from the five I own', the truth is I struggle to decide which is my favourite because I like them all for different reasons and I keep changing my mind. With bands like Pink Floyd, Genesis, Yes, King Crimson etc I seem to be more decisive. So as of today, I think as an overall album this one is in no 1 spot for me. If this conflicts with one of my other Radiohead album reviews at some point I'm sure you will understand. What does it for me:

- The way the drums have been recorded throughout
- The beautiful synth string textures, particularly what sounds
Ike a cello sample
- The vocals on tracks like Nude and Reckoner

Rush goes back to an earlier heavier less keyboard influenced sound, reminiscent of Counterparts. Although I saw the band on this tour which was superb, this album doesn't tick certain boxes for me. I prefer Rush at their most progressive, not at their most heavy. [First added to this chart: 11/12/2023]
