This took a while before I realized just how fucking brilliant it is. Thought it alright at first but then some years later while listening to it something clicked. It's all due to when the internal frequencies within line up exactly to the external ones around us. Then....BOOM. Musical god is found

Great album. Way way better than I was ever expecting. So many top tracks right through, too many to be able to pick a favorite. Which is what makes this an outstanding album.

An original sounding band and album which is why I love it. Upbeat down tuned somber alternative pop rock. That about sums up the sound even though that sounds very contradictory. Bloody good depressingly happy music.

The best Britpop/rock album there is. It's as Beatles as you can get without it being the Beatles. Not that that's bad. Really good album with a heap of great songs. Mostly killer, not much filler.

Another great album from Polly Jean. Interesting overall tone with this, being full of deep heavy rhythms, semi foreboding bass lines and lyrically dark under currents. Fucking love it. One of her best.

Cracker debut. Chock full of high energy up-tempo tracks. I don't use the term 'fun' when describing a music type or style. But this is fun music. How can you not love it? 02/24

Top notch album. Consistently great songs with even most of the lesser known tracks being just as good as the hits. Many of them having a very epic feel about them. Again Mike Patton is the crooning rock king.

Vastly better than the first album. It's got such a blended feel of 60's & 70's music mixed with the 90's alternative sound. Truly great overlooked record.

This is one you forget how decent it is. It sort of falls into a category of where you think it's just average apart from the killer tracks. I always seemed to think there's a lot of filler on it. There's not. Only 2 songs in the filler category, the rest are way better than you remember. 'Don't downplay me' this album screams.
