Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by chavaloricardin

This is a list of albums that changed the way I understand music, influenced me and inspired me to learn to play an instrument. Each one of the albums that you will find in this chart have changed my life and are part of me in some way.

I grew up listening to "Classic-Rock" (AC/DC, The Beatles, Queen, etc) and with the pass of time I began to listen to alternative and more melancholic music (Radiohead, Keane, The Strokes, etc), I also opened up to genres like Hip-Hop or electronic music (DJ Shadow, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc) so you'll see a lot of that here.

This Chart is not definitive, and my tastes are changing over time, so I will probably have to give a revision to this list in a couple of years, but for now here it is.

Esta es una lista de los álbumes que cambiaron mi forma de entender la música, tuvieron influencia en mi y me inspiraron a aprender a tocar algún instrumento. Cada uno de los álbumes que encontraras en este chart han cambiado mi vida y forman parte de mi de algún modo.

No es una lista definitiva y mis gustos van cambiando con el tiempo, probablemente tenga que darle una revisión a esta lista en un par de años, pero por lo pronto aquí lo tienen.

Lo que más me gusta de Franz Ferdinand es lo poderoso que son sus riffs de guitarra... solo hay que escuchar "Take me Out" y "The Dark of the Matinée" un par de veces y sabras de lo que estoy hablando.

English review
What I like most about Franz Ferdinand is how powerful his guitar riffs are... you just have to listen to "Take me Out" and "The Dark of the Matinée" a couple of times and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Me encanta el sonido "Post-Punk" con tono obscuro de este álbum, además inicia muy fuerte con las dos primeras canciones (Untitled y Obstacle 1) a mitad del álbum hay buenas canciones como "Say Hello to the Angels" o "Stella a Was Diver and She Was Always Down" y las últimas pistas siguen siendo bastante sólidas.

I love the "Post-Punk" sound with dark tone of this album, also starts very strong with the first two songs (Untitled and Obstacle 1) in the middle of the album there are good songs like "Say Hello to the Angels" or "Stella a Was Diver and She Was Always Down" And the last tracks are still pretty solid. Arctic Monkeys hace su debut con este album lleno de energía, la forma en que se complementan las 2 guitarras, la fuerza y el ímpetu de Matt Helders en la batería, así como la voz de Alex Turner, hacen de "Whatever people say i am that's what i'm not" un emblema del Indie rock. Su sonido "Garage Rock" me hace sentir mas joven.
Todas las canciones, aquí, son buenas pero solo por destacar algunas; "A certain romance", "Mardy Bum" y "when the sun goes down".

English review:
Arctic Monkeys make their debut with this album full of energy, the way the 2 guitars complement each other, the strength and impetus of Matt Helders on drums, as well as the voice of Alex Turner, make "Whatever people say i am that's what i'm not" an emblem of Indie rock. Their "Garage Rock" sound makes me feel younger.
All the songs here are good but just to highlight a few; "A Certain Romance", "Mardy Boom" and "When the Sun Goes Down". [First added to this chart: 03/08/2023]

Este álbum produce en mí tantas emociones, que apenas puedo describirlas... los arreglos orquestales son hermosos y los interludios conectan cada canción a la perfección. Simplemente busca un lugar tranquilo, ponte los audífonos y cierra los ojos mientras escuchas este álbum... "John Wayne Gacy, jr", "Chicago", " They Are Night Zombies" son mis canciones favoritas.

This album produces in me so many emotions, that I can hardly describe them... The orchestral arrangements are beautiful and the interludes connect each song perfectly. Just find a quiet place, put on your headphones and close your eyes while listening to this album... "John Wayne Gacy, jr", "Chicago", "They Are Night Zombies" are my favorite songs. Jim Morrison podrá no tener la mejor técnica vocal, pero lo que transmite con su voz está fuera del otro mundo, líricamente es poesía hecha música y en la parte instrumental The Doors está a otro nivel.
"Light My Fire" y "break on through" son dos de mis canciones favoritas de toda la vida

Hola, te escribo como respuesta al comentario reciente que pusiste en mi perfil en mi lista de albumes. Muchas gracias por el comentario. Además, consideraré comentar cada uno de los albumes como me recomiendas.
En cuanto a tu lista, también me ha gustado, veo que es muy variada y que te gustan los álbumes clásicos de bandas.
En relación a Keane, ese disco me marcó bastante en su momento, y todavía lo disfruto cuando lo escucho. Además veía necesario meter discos españoles ya que también han tenido gran peso en mi vida. De ninguna manera voy a dejarlos fuera por ser españoles, para mi siguen siendo de gran calidad. Como ves, yo no valoro la calidad general de un disco, sino lo que me ha hecho sentir ese disco, que es lo que realmente veo importante.

This is a good 50 - I know and love almost everything here. Special shout out to Keane at number 1 and also Travis.
Let me recommend 2 albums based on what you have and your comments - Neutral Milk Hotel In An Aeroplane Over The Sea - sometimes takes folk a while to really enjoy as it is kinda tortured folk; and Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago, lo-fi folk.
