Top 100 Greatest Music Albums by chavaloricardin

This is a list of albums that changed the way I understand music, influenced me and inspired me to learn to play an instrument. Each one of the albums that you will find in this chart have changed my life and are part of me in some way.

I grew up listening to "Classic-Rock" (AC/DC, The Beatles, Queen, etc) and with the pass of time I began to listen to alternative and more melancholic music (Radiohead, Keane, The Strokes, etc), I also opened up to genres like Hip-Hop or electronic music (DJ Shadow, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc) so you'll see a lot of that here.

This Chart is not definitive, and my tastes are changing over time, so I will probably have to give a revision to this list in a couple of years, but for now here it is.

Esta es una lista de los álbumes que cambiaron mi forma de entender la música, tuvieron influencia en mi y me inspiraron a aprender a tocar algún instrumento. Cada uno de los álbumes que encontraras en este chart han cambiado mi vida y forman parte de mi de algún modo.

No es una lista definitiva y mis gustos van cambiando con el tiempo, probablemente tenga que darle una revisión a esta lista en un par de años, pero por lo pronto aquí lo tienen.

Por lo general, no escucho Heavy Metal o cualquiera de sus derivados pero este álbum tiene mi respeto. Paranoid e iron man fueron 2 de las primeras canciones que aprendí a tocar en mi guitarra.

I usually don't listen to Heavy Metal or any of its derivatives but this album has my respect.

Nunca fui un gran fan de la voz de Axl Rose, pero el sonido de las guitarras fueron una inspiración para mí. Slash fue uno de mis guitarristas favoritos en mi adolescencia y me gustaba mucho su estilo. Aunque ya no escucho las canciones de este álbum con la frecuencia que lo hacía antes, pero este disco me marcó.

I was never a big fan of Axl Rose's voice, but the sound of the guitars was an inspiration to me. Slash was one of my favorite guitarists in my teens and I really liked his style. Me encantaba la etapa más melancólica de Coldplay, este álbum está lleno de canciones tristes pero dulces al mismo tiempo, "Dont panic", "yellow", "Shiver", "Trouble", "Sparks", etc. por el amor de dios!!! está lleno de increíbles canciones.

Creedence ha sido de esas bandas que solía amar en mi adolescencia, pero que con el tiempo he dejado de escuchar un poco, de cualquier modo, aún sigo escuchando de vez en cuando a esta banda y "Lookin' Out My Back Door" así como "Who'll Stop The Rain" siguen siendo 2 de mis canciones favoritas de ellos.

Creedence has been one of those bands that I used to love in my teens, but over time I have stopped listening a little, anyway, I still listen to this band a few times and "Lookin' Out My Back Door" as well as "Who'll Stop The Rain" are still 2 of my favorite songs of theirs. Actualmente casi no escucho a esta banda, pero cuando tenía 12 o 13 años, no paraba de escucharlos y en especial las canciones de este álbum.

Simplemente olvidé lo mucho que me gustaba este álbum... "Tuesdays Gone" y "Simple Man" siguen siendo increíbles canciones. "Free Bird" es mi favorita y además tiene el mejor solo de guitarra que he escuchado... lo siento "Stairway to heaven"

Es una pena que estos chicos hayan tenido problemas por "Sweet Symphony", porque realmente es una de las mejores canciones que he escuchado. "Sonnet" y "Lucky man" son geniales también... simplemente uno de los mejores álbumes de britpop, casi a la altura de (What's the Story) Morning Glory?

Hola, te escribo como respuesta al comentario reciente que pusiste en mi perfil en mi lista de albumes. Muchas gracias por el comentario. Además, consideraré comentar cada uno de los albumes como me recomiendas.
En cuanto a tu lista, también me ha gustado, veo que es muy variada y que te gustan los álbumes clásicos de bandas.
En relación a Keane, ese disco me marcó bastante en su momento, y todavía lo disfruto cuando lo escucho. Además veía necesario meter discos españoles ya que también han tenido gran peso en mi vida. De ninguna manera voy a dejarlos fuera por ser españoles, para mi siguen siendo de gran calidad. Como ves, yo no valoro la calidad general de un disco, sino lo que me ha hecho sentir ese disco, que es lo que realmente veo importante.

This is a good 50 - I know and love almost everything here. Special shout out to Keane at number 1 and also Travis.
Let me recommend 2 albums based on what you have and your comments - Neutral Milk Hotel In An Aeroplane Over The Sea - sometimes takes folk a while to really enjoy as it is kinda tortured folk; and Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago, lo-fi folk.
