I've started a project of going back through my music collection and critically listening to and grading my favorites while also exploring music I haven't heard before. My rating system is heavily skewed towards nostalgia and my personal listening tastes but also allows space for albums that I don't particularly enjoy but can appreciate nonetheless. This list is a work in progress that I'll be updating as I work through my library and explore new music.

I'm not the biggest Radiohead fan but I can appreciate them and this album has some pretty interesting music on it with really cool sounds. Very experimental but more musical than The Bends.

I had License to Ill on CD as a kid and loved it. That was the only full Beastie Boys album I had ever listened to until recently when I checked out Ill Communication. It was not at all what I was expecting and I was really impressed. Plus it's got the best Beastie Boys song on it: Sabotage.
