John's vocals gives a lift to a very ordinary song.
A cover version of Arthur Alexander’s 1962 soul single, John proves how dynamic his voice is in this song. Even though he is extremely sick in this recording, he is able to control and carry the emotion throughout the song with his voice. I really like the composition and especially the lead guitar. A very cool album track through and through.
Good song, but slightly long considering it is not a varied song.
Originally by Arthur Alexander, it's a decent version by the Beatles with some fantastic vocals from John Lennon. It has a nice raw edge to it. Good song.

It's okay. I like the style of the song though.
A brilliant song and beautifully performed by the Beatles (although on balance I do still prefer the Arthur Alexander version).
