Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.7/100, a mean average of 84.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 18.4.

The first half of the track is brilliant, but that's almost ruined when it enters shaky territory of experimental-sounding organ and electronic spasms. Not only is this non-radio-friendly, but it seems unfitting and disjoint from the highly structured and short piece that precedes this rather strange and long outro.

Although the outro is by no means ineffective, and it's actually kind of fascinating to listen to it, it seems mis-sorted, like the snippet should have been placed at a different time on the album. If anything, it could've possibly stood alone as a separate instrumental track. Instead, it draws "The Widow" out, breaks any hopes for the track to be regarded with the greats that perfectly justify form and length.

However, I feel inclined to rate the track based only on the single version of the song, since it's beautiful in lyrics, mood, and composition. 90/100
