Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. One of my favorite songs off the record, probably Sonic Youth's heaviest song (if you'd ever call them heavy, which I typically wouldn't). I love the way Kim screams the vocals, this song reminds me of smells like teen spirit, not because they sound similar or have similar structures, in a way that when she sings most of the song you can't understand her, but it's still very intense. Also just kickass riffs in there.
