Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 16% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 78.5/100, a mean average of 79.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 79.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.3.

This is a decent opener for the new 3-some. Definitely heavier and ballsier than what I'm used to with Genesis. I like Ray's vocals, grittier and hard edged.
Starts the album with a crashing bang, a much heavier sound than nearly any previous Genesis opener (or any Genesis song for that matter, aside from maybe The Knife). It slows down a bit and becomes this kind of generic hard-alt rock song, and the generic self-reflecting lyrics only exacerbate that, but it's solid for what it is. Ray Wilson gives a really good vocal performance, it's just jarring to hear it coming from a Genesis song. It's also got a pretty damn good (but short) guitar solo that reminds me a lot of David Gilmour's solo from Sorrow. A pretty good way to start the album, it's just strange to think that this is Genesis.
