The vocals are just perfect. Love the way the music grows. Surely one of the key tracks of this record, along with Dive, Black Car, Girl of the year and Last ride.
The point on the album where Vic's voice really comes to the front and dominates the identity of the music. Definitely the lyrical highlight of the record.
Those fuzzy layers of guitar complement her voice perfectly (holy shit! that guitar solo!), and like much of the album, the track grows and grows as it goes on, reaching a burning climax at the end.
Fantastic track!
Lyrics are amazing and the understated solo that weaves into the second half, left me absolutely flawed
