Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

Beautiful!
Sorprendentemente, una canción infravalorada de los Beatles. Es extraordinaria.
Brian Wilson's favourite Beatle song; all you need to know.
So British. Great John and Paul vocals.
My favorite song about paternal love.
The strings deserve all the praise they receive, but the harp is what sets this song apart to me and makes it brilliant.
Beautiful and sad at the same time! Probably the second best track on the album after A Day in the Life.
A kind of companion piece to, Eleanor Rigby, she's leaving home, is another of Paul McCartney's wonderful classical based songs. It a dark number, based on a true story, about a girl who finally has to the courage to become independent, but completely lacks that same courage to tell her parents of her decision. The song evokes the kitchen sink dramas of British cinema in the early and mid-sixties, especially, a taste of honey, and, the family way, which incidentally, Paul McCartney would write the soundtrack for that same year. The song is given extra poignancy by the amazing vocal performances. McCartney is obviously great, but it's John Lennon's superb backing vocals, expressing the bewilderment of the girl's distraught parents, which lifts it to a higher emotional plane. She's leaving home, in my opinion, is easily up there with, a day in the life, as one of the strongest songs from an album full of them. A classic track.
I love this song so much. The lyrics are fantastic, especially when they sing "She's having fun," instead of the usual "She's leaving home." Up until that point, the song had a sad feeling to it, but then at that part you realize that, wait, her parents suck and she's having fun running away. I love that part.
One of the most perfect musical creations. Clean production.
