Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.9/100, a mean average of 84.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.3.

This sounds like an elderly warrior going into battle one last time, which makes sense since that's kinda what the song is about. Especially in the second half when that bouncing guitar riff comes in, and then when the drums kick in the track just thumps. It's like the first half of the song is the warrior getting ready for battle, and the second half is the battle itself. Once again, stunning
Great song, but I’m always disappointed that the opening progression never returns.
An affirmation that consistent, continuous hard work bears fruit throughout life, even as we head into battle-weary middle age.
