Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.3/100, a mean average of 83.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 84.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.9.

Not only one of my favorite Nirvana songs but one of my most beloved noise rock tracks ever.
Brooding and disgusting, but somehow so appealing with amazing drumming.
This is what happens when you read too many books on perfume. Grohl growls, Krist gets heavy heavy and Kurt's vocals and guitar scream like maniacal demons of the night. This pumps and drives from beginning to end. It's relentless. What an opener this would have been. Certainly 'fertilises my mushrooms'.
'There are countless formulas for pressing flowers' - and this is by far the best one.
Love the drumline. Perfect for Steve Albini's production style, too.
Underrated song, killer riff and, while his vocals aren't pop-friendly, they're adrenaline pumping.
Maniacally good. Makes you want to blow your speakers to smithereens just to hear it a little louder.
I wish more of their stuff sounded more like this. Maybe not quite this extreme, but heavier.
Slowly becoming one of my favourites from the band
If you're a drummer, like I am, you probably like this song.
This is a great example of how to use screaming vocals in a song, and not sound like a complete idiot. This song is amazing, heavy, and very influential.
It's solid
