Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 90.6/100, a mean average of 90.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.1.

I wonder what Kurt meant when he says "Hall and Oates is all we are" ?
All Apologies is the perfect mix of Nirvana’s approach to gloom and beauty.
The instrumental lay out (and breakdown towards the end) is so gorgeous and it exists as a representation of the breakdown of the band and Kurt’s mental state.
An all time great song.
My favourite Nirvana song (and there's so many to choose from). The guitar in the intro is great. And the bridge after "Yeah yeah yeah yeah" is so fun. It's one of those parts of a song that would be amazing live. You can just imagine the camera panning out at Glastonbury to see tens of thousands of people dancing along. Unfortunately Kurt passed away when I was 3 months old so that was never gonna happen for me
Great ending to an excellent album and a short tumultuous but significantly important career.
Taxi for Mr Cobain.
It's like their "Champagne Supernova" in a way.
An eerie end to their studio discography that only leaves you guessing what could've been next. Perfect in it's own right, just like everything else they did.
They didn't know it yet, but they couldn't have ended this album better than with Kurt's marriage combined with an epic farewell, and, "All alone is all we are:" the summary of In Utero in one line.
And yeah. She killed him.
A fan favorite among Nirvana's catalog and a good closer to In Utero
This is 10 million times better than Smells Like Teen Spirit
The final song on In Utero, and the most heart-breaking. It feels like your listening to Kurt's suicide note, meaning of course, that the lyrics on here are superb.
