Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 84.9/100, a mean average of 84.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 85.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.0.

Brilliant, a superb closer for an excellent album. Great lyrics, some of the best written by the band and the level of musicianship is laid out before you. Everyone contributing and on top form. What a way for Pete to close out on.
Wow. What an ending. While the lyrics are left open to interpretation, it is implied to be about enlightenment. With Rael rescuing himself from the rapids, he's reached enlightenment and self-realization, completing his hero's journey: the perfect wrap-up. Throw in some fantastic vocals, another legendary performance from Banks, a balls-out drumming spectacle from Collins, and some wonderfully self-referential and pop-culture-referencing lyrics, and you have a masterpiece of a finale. This was Peter Gabriel's final song with Genesis, and damn, it was a good one.
Yeah this is definitely the perfect closing song. It gives me a very unique feeling when I listen to it. Genesis was pretty good at wrapping albums up (The Knife, Supper's Ready, Fountain of Salmacis).
This is the celebratory finale. Great, fun song to close this thing out. It, whatever it is (life?), is all around. Tony & Phil play off of each other with Hackett flying above the fray as Peter fills us in (sort of) on what "it" is. My favorite line: "it is chicken. it is eggs. / it is in between your legs." It closes "it's only knock and knowall, but i like it..."
