Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.6/100, a mean average of 86.7/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 87.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.0.

"Was she told when she was young that pain would lead to pleasure?
Did she understand it when they said
That a man must break his back to earn his day of leisure?
Will she still believe it when he's dead?"

That verse is so powerful

Os meninos de Liverpool estavam ficando mais sombrios entre as baforadas de erva.

Like Michelle, Girl has a hint of Paris about it. It's a lovely song, albeit quite dark lyrically, and with John Lennon's inhales during the song it is one of the Beatles first truly atmospheric tracks. Excellent song.

I like the Greek influence in the "She's the kind of girl who puts you down..." bridge. Lennon's gritty ballad at its grittiest.
