The chilled-out, dreamscape Hendrix material is some of my favorite of his. Rarely in that mode does he get authentically heavy and funky like he does in the chorus of this one.
One of the most underrated Hendrix tracks ever.
Every time I listen to this song I grow to love it more. Jimi's jazz style playing sets a perfect atmosphere for some of the most poetic lyrics he had ever written. The climax of this song is pure bliss, so incredibly underrated.
