Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.6/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.6.

One of the best album-openers in the history of music. A real kick-in-the-balls way to kick off the best album of the 70s.

One of the Stones's most underrated songs, the riff is perfect and it's a powerful hard rock classic.

Probably the second best opening track in the whole of the Rolling Stones cannon(after Sympathy for the devil). It's a rollicking good track that leaves the listener utterly breathless. A brilliant start to a brilliant album.

This is really one of the Stones greatest achievements. Everything from the smile-inducing lyrics ("The sunshine scares the daylights out of me") to the bellowing brass parts, this song is one of their finest moments as a band and (in my opinion) the finest on the album.

Good beginnin. I'm still trying to understand the Stones.
