A testament to one man's conviction to be the change in the world, that he wanted to make. Tremendous soul groove, gospel foundation and stark, honest lyrics that set the standard for Marvin Gaye's political "What's Going On?" and Mayfield's own "Superfly"! Mayfield was the originator of what we refer to today as rap/hip-hop.
