Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track has a Bayesian average rating of 75.6/100, a mean average of 75.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.5/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.0.

Way too long, drags on and on, and drags the album down as a result.

Yes, the Doors (specifically The End) was what came to mind during the long improv. However, I prefer The End over this.

This song was clearly an inspiration for Jim Morrison. Not the length, but the way Jagger sings some phrases.

Not bad in itself but why the Stones felt it necessary to release this in it's full eleven minute improvisation version is beyond me. It's just boring and the fact that it is so long is the only reason it stands out like a sore thumb. If it was kept down to three or four minutes it would have been nothing more than decent filler. It's length is extremely progressive in theory but in reality it ends up being the worst track on the album. I really can't see the need for it, it takes away rather than adds anything to the album. Desolation row, it is not.

An obscurely long track. Not something I complain about, but would understand if other did.
