12 years into the bands recording career and I find this to be them at their pinnacle, or at least the version of their sound I connect with most. I find the band best when they strike that perfect balance between their metal and 90s alternative influences, and this one nails it to a tee. The track opens with a beautiful post-rock and shoegaze indebted clean intro that eventually builds into an explosion that channels Metallica's arena metal 90s era (or, "goes full Dad rock" as another user put it) another unlikely but highly welcome influence thrown in their blackgaze cauldron. 10/10 blackgaze (Black Album-gaze) track in my humble opinion
