A good introduction to the music of Ravi Shankar. The master of the Sitar is accompanied by Tabla, the sound is exotic, bordering on psychedelic, almost hypnotic. It is no wonder that bands like The Beatles, The Byrds, The Pretty Things, Eric Burdon and the Animals to name but a few, wanted the sound of the Sitar on their songs.
