Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.0/100, a mean average of 73.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.1/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.0.

No signs of Suede slowing down. This is another strong album with some great tracks, my favourite being the operatic Don't Be Afraid If Nobody Loves You.
25 years after their seminal self tilted debut it's wonderful that Sued are still making music and music that matters at that
I wasn't too enamoured with 2016's 'Night Thoughts' but I'm really digging this album. It's an English Gothic gem of a record that is dark and brooding yet has that Sued charm and swagger
Great come back from one our generations most important bands
Nothing offensive but nothing groundbreaking. It's Suede being Suede and it's fine.
Quite possibly the best Suede album since Coming up. It's obvious the band and hungry and inspired. And it's a real grower too. There's no, Animal nitrate, here but as a complete piece of work it's a fine effort. Very good.
As time goes by it becomes more and more apparent how Suede were one, if not THE most important band of the nineties. Whilst the new album isn’t quite a return to the punked-up, bottom-slapping, glam rock of the glory days, it is a mature and noble addition to their back catalogue with a welcome step towards (surprisingly enough) Art Rock.
