Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Great record to test your hifi equipment!
OK, this is a tough one. I want to love this record, but it sounds a bit shit, frankly. The Trevor Horn/Stephen Lipson/ZTT-Sarm sound thing is dating badly. Fading. The CD sounds dreadful anyway, needs remastering and putting back to it's original unedited vinyl form. It stands as an exercise or experiment in how to muck about with and stretch out one basic track for long enough to make an album. It is an artefact of it's time. But Grace is great, does what she does very well. And viewed as a bit of harmless fun it's alright.
