Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 4% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.9/100, a mean average of 76.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.6.

It's Only Natural and Weather With You are classics. The rest of the album is solid but lacking similarly brilliant standout tracks.

This band have no real image to speak of. They are nothing to look at and their clothes are bad. There videos are hard to remember and the artwork mediocre at best. Liking them will NOT make you look cool. You will never envy their haircuts.

The Finn brothers are high quality songsmiths and what you are buying here is Grade A songwriting. Long after a bands image fades or goes out of fashion, beautifully crafted songwriting remains.

Beatlesque is right, durable is spot on. Woodface is a treasure for life.

She goes on.

One of my favourite albums of all time.
I'm not familiar with the lyrics, but I do liked the music and the space rock-ish artwork.

An underrated classic. The songwriting on this album is astonishing. "She Goes On" is one of the most beautifully atmospheric songs ever written - it transports me back to another time and place whenever I listen to it, and would appear in my Top 10 tracks of all time.

Truly Wonderful. Underated. Split Enz and Crowded House are amazing. 'Four Seasons in One Day' is one of their masterpieces.
