No es de mi agrado su voz. No hay conexión con su interpretación tampoco y me parece que es tomado en cuenta por ser experimental más que por tener buenas canciones (sólidas) .

What I love about Beck is that everyone has a different favorite album. There isn't just one album that everyone universally mentions as his greatest. When you can have multiple albums on a best of list and have people disagree over which one of your own albums should be higher just shows the degree of greatness he has put out. Personally Sea Change is my favorite followed by Odelay.

Beck is an amazing artist who has redefined genres of music on multiple occasions. I wish his output was still as consistent as it was 10-15 years ago, but I always find something in each album of his that surprises me nonetheless. He's like a gift that keeps on giving.
The story of how he came from almost nothing is very admirable and shows how you can do anything you put your mind to. His strong passion for music drove him to work towards his fame, and he deserves all the praise that he gets!
Great musician, and person as a whole.

Really varied artist... sometimes for the better... sometimes for the worse.
Beck isn't a bad artist and I enjoy a handful of his albums, but he does fall into that category of his best song is a cover. Beck has yet to move me emotionally with his own music the way he has with his cover of The Korgis' "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime".

Probably my favorite songwriter besides Dylan. Mellow Gold is one of my favorite albums of all time.
I read once that Beck was the 90s consolation prize for losing Kurt Cobain. I disagree. Beck was (and is) a far greater genius than Cobain ever was. For a long time I wasn't a fan, but his music has grown on me. Probably one of the greatest rappers of all time, if you think about Beck that way and if not, he's still one of the greatest alt rockers of all time. One of the great geniuses of all time.
My favourite artist! Don't tell anyone though.
