After some solid works, Mikael Akerfeldt's boys reach the perfection in this rollercoaster of rythms among wrecking growls and smooth melodies that makes of "Blackwater Park" an intense walk over the mud from start to finish -including "Still Day Beneath The Sun" and "Patterns In The Ivy II, the two fantastic bonus tracks-. Is impossible not to fall in love with this album since its first listen to even if you aren't an Opeth fan. The lack of growlings maybe lets that. And probably not so outstanding quality and depth as Blackwater Park but has a peace and a harmony which gets to relax all your senses. I'm still waiting for some similar stuff from these swedish guys. [First added to this chart: 11/30/2013]
