Queen will rock you by Mother Nature's Son
Freddie Mercury's operatic voice, the band's gorgeous musical arrangements, their stunning choir arrangements, the feel-good power, the fact that they can ROCK! They are mostly known for their high number of successful singles, but about all their albums are also highly enjoyable from start to finish if you ask me. Queen mean the world to me, God save them!

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy? Well, Queen is pretty much the product of fantasy. The greatest night you could spend at the opera.

A kind of magic, indeed. More so than any other Queen album. It might not be their most deep album, but then again, it has "Who Wants to Live Forever". Just the album I need, one that makes you feel good.

Queen's "cocaine album". It sounds like that and there's also that one line from "Bicycle Race": "You say coke I say caine". To be a little more straight-forward, it's a crazy album, even if there isn't any jazz on it.

The show must go on for Queen, but it's getting very near the end. Not much has changed since the 80s, still full of slick sound and synthesizers with the occasional guitar-oriented rocker, but something gloomy hides under certain tracks. Listening to this album feels me with joy while also touching me deeply when I recognize the coincidental signs of Freddie Mercury's forthcoming death.

Queen getting seriosuly interested in syntesizers and now with extensive use of them. The best use of the synthesizer is found with the fantastic opener "Radio Ga Ga". Outside the unfamiliar Queen sound, you also get the classic rockers and the thoughful "Is This the World We Created...?" to end the show. "The Works" belongs among Queen's best works.

Queen will rock you, to the extent that you might get a sheer heart attack! I'm not very crazy about the high use of "We Will Rock You" and "We Are the Champions" as sports anthems, but it only proves further that Queen are the champions of music!

Every Queen album is a bit of a miracle and this is no exception. Party rockers, big anthems, magical synthesizers, cheesy ballads, Queen wanted it all and they gave it to you here. Despite what many wants you to believe about Queen in the 80s, this is no way a scandal!

Heaven available for everyone with Queen's final album which truly sounds like it WAS made in heaven. With Freddie Mercury's vocals recorded before he passed away, obviously, and music recorded and finished after, the album is the remaining band members' uplifting, almost religiously spiritual tribute to the flamboyant frontman. Beautifully dreamy and way up in the clouds!

Spending a day at the races is nearly as succesful as spending a night at the opera. I'm not so sure about the Japanese lyrics in "Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)" though!

Introducing the first killer Queen song, "Killer Queen", you start to sense that Queen are in the lap of the gods when it comes to music. Like previous "Queen II", it's quite progressive, but more fragmented and diverse, yet it's more than the sum of its parts.
