Queen will rock you by Mother Nature's Son

Freddie Mercury's operatic voice, the band's gorgeous musical arrangements, their stunning choir arrangements, the feel-good power, the fact that they can ROCK! They are mostly known for their high number of successful singles, but about all their albums are also highly enjoyable from start to finish if you ask me. Queen mean the world to me, God save them!

A kind of magic, indeed. More so than any other Queen album. It might not be their most deep album, but then again, it has "Who Wants to Live Forever". Just the album I need, one that makes you feel good.

Queen getting seriosuly interested in syntesizers and now with extensive use of them. The best use of the synthesizer is found with the fantastic opener "Radio Ga Ga". Outside the unfamiliar Queen sound, you also get the classic rockers and the thoughful "Is This the World We Created...?" to end the show. "The Works" belongs among Queen's best works.

Every Queen album is a bit of a miracle and this is no exception. Party rockers, big anthems, magical synthesizers, cheesy ballads, Queen wanted it all and they gave it to you here. Despite what many wants you to believe about Queen in the 80s, this is no way a scandal!

Play the game with Queen in the 80s way. The first use of synthesizer on a Queen album is found here making it clear what decade we're in. A little less crazier than "Jazz", but still a unique collection of songs that range from everything between rockabilly and funk rock, the latter giving Queen success with their hit "Another One Bites the Dust" and ultimately inspiring them to make their next album "Hot Space" full of similar funk rock songs!

Action this day with this crazy party album! Queen tried to expand the success of "Another One Bites the Dust" and its new funk-rock direction also adding dance and disco elements to the table, but fans of the good ol' 1970s Queen were far from pleased. It's the album that most point out as the worst Queen album, but I believe it has a lot more staying power than that!

Not the typical flash of brillance we're used to from Queen, but fair enough; it's only a soundtrack album. Some of these instrumental pieces are interesting enough, most of the time though the film's missing to make a meaningful experience. It's an odd one compared to any other Queen studio album, but at least you get to hear the actual good ol' familiar Queen sound here and there, including one genuinely good, not only piece, but actual song (the theme of the movie)!
