The Top 100 Best Irish Albums by 
Secondsoul 
Note that this chart contains artists from Northern Ireland(part of the UK)as well as the South. I've tried to space out my own personal favourites a little to add a bit more variety. If I had just listed my favourites, I probably would have put all four Into Paradise and all four Microdisney albums in the Top 20! Hopefully someone may discover a few decent albums on here. For such a small island we are never going to compete musically with the likes of The US or UK, but we still have a lot to offer!

Great change for a chart.... I always believed Ireland is a close 3rd in
Music talent, behind uk, and u.s.a. ..... SLIGHTLY ahead of Australia --- thanks

Very nice! Good to see charts like this one on the site. Great to see Stump and the Adventures here, as well as some other faves. Must check out the Ruefrex and Colenso Parade albums.
Dunno if it's really your kind of music but think it could probably do with a bit more hard rock / metal and there might be room for a few more female-led bands (cos there are a few really good ones). Have bands like Mellow Candle, Scheer and the Chalets on my overall chart and then there are some of the more current ones that could be worth checking out like Ham Sandwich or Little Green Cars.
Patman360's decade / year charts are worth exploring aswell - some decent homegrown stuff in there.

You won't be disappointed with Whipping Boy's Heartworm. Great album. Thanks for remembering me about God is An Astronaut. Had completely forgotten about them when compiling this. I'm only familiar with their first two albums and both of those should be on this list somewhere. This is a brand new chart that I've just submitted so there will definitely be changes to it. Any recommendations from you kind people are definitely more than welcome!
