One of the best country records I have heard in a while. There is a real aura of class and timelessness in the song-writing and the instrumentation. The hit is clearly “If Trouble Comes A Lookin’” which is fantastic. You then have“Hometown Hero”, which is a heartbreaking song about a soldier who commits suicide. The song itself is stunning but the single banjo playing the National Anthem Of America is the icing on top of a soul destroying cake.
