Favorite Song: Silent Running
A bit of a mixed bag, but I'd say most songs hit really hard. I also love the selection of features... probably my favorite features list on any album ever. [First added to this chart: 02/28/2023]

Favorite Song: This is Why
Hmm... I'm having trouble putting a finger on where this ranks among Paramore's albums, but I think I really enjoyed it. I really feel the band is going all out with instrumentation, making tight and catchy songs. I think the lyrics suffer slightly, but on other songs, they're excellent. I'm thinking a bit about Metric's last two albums and how Metric seemingly only got better lyrically while writing catchy songs. I'd love to see a halfway point between This is Why and Formentera.... Would that be Metric's Art of Doubt? I'm not sure. Because there's something here I don't think Metric has fully figured out yet. Similarly, I think Metric are better lyricists than Paramore. Sorry if that's a weird point of comparison. The two bands hold a similar spot in my mind, but admittedly, I'm more of a Metric fan. [First added to this chart: 02/27/2023]

Favorite Song: Welcome to My Island
I wasn't really familiar with Caroline Polachek before the lead-up to this album. I fell in love with Welcome to My Island immediately. It's such a strange new pop song with what felt like Kraftwerk influence. I was happy to see the rest of the album held up to the same consistency. I think this is the first pop album since Dua Lipa's Future Nostalgia that excited me to explore it. I also want to say I really love the song that features Dido and Grimes. I'm a big fan of both artists, but they came from such different points of my life so hearing them on a song together was really fun. [First added to this chart: 02/28/2023]
