I really like this re-make from their 1968 debut album "Shades of Deep Purple". Indeed, this instrumental was the very first track. It really is pretty much a total makeover, the original being very much a song of it's times of course with that psychedelic prog rock 60's 70's sound. This remake is ummm... well... nothing like that! Fresh and new sounding. The organ playing here from Don Airey is phenomenal
