Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 15% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.4/100, a mean average of 74.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.7/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.9.

What else is to say than it's an AC/DC album and it rocks.
Dec20. I was excited for this album as soon as I heard snippets of first single, 'Shot in the Dark'. I love the crunching guitars and sing-a-long chorus. A fantastic lead single. Whilst a lot of the rock bands I listen to are doing 'something different' (by going pop and basically doing what everyone is doing), I knew ACDC would deliver the goods and give the fans what they want. This is a solid rock album and stands up against their catalogue.
'Realize' is a good opener that gets everything right without being over the top. 'Rejection' is a slower, bluesier number of the style they explored on Stiff Upper Lip that really suits Johnson's vocals. 'Through the Mists of Time' is a very easy-listening, mid-paced rocker that I quite enjoy. 'Kick You When You're Down' is a combination of the previous two tracks with a catchy little guitar hook in there.
'Witch's Spell' is okay, but the album goes up a knotch with the cool 'Demon Fire'. The guitars just work so well together in this one. 'Wild Reputation' has a feel to it that reminds me of Shake Your Foundations.
From there it is a run of three solid rockers to the end, two of which sound similar with their choruses. Then finally, the slower, 'Code Red'. Not quite as slow (or as good) as The Jack but in that vein.
Overall, I am glad I waited for more listens. If I reviewed this when I first heard it, I would have rated it higher (which would look odd against the catalog). As it is, this is still very enjoyable in an age of pop production. A slightly weaker second half, but all songs here are worthy. 4/5
If you like AC/DC, you'll like this. If you don't like AC/DC, then don't bother. Hey, that's what they offer. No sense whining that that's exactly what they deliver.
AC/DC Is back and better than EVER! Rating (82.50)
This is exactly what you'd expect from AC/DC in 2020; it's the same signature punchy hard rock sound that we've been listening to for decades. Still, huge respect for these guys for being able to release this under all the circumstances (Read more: JakeVitale's comment).
AC/DC "powers up" the tail end of their career with an album that largely sounds like it could be any of their other albums and lacks any real nuance or subtlety. This is rock 'n roll for people who don't want their favorite music to evolve or change, for better or worse.
A good album that rocks much the same as their other albums w/ Brian Johnson. Nothing really new here. If I was to pick a great classic rock album for this year it would be Blue Oyster Cult "The Symbol Remains". Check it out.
