Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.3/100, a mean average of 78.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 78.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 11.8.

Great album yes - but people are losing perspective - already seeing things like This is best album since Painkiller....This is hundred times better than maiden etc..for a start Maidens youngest member is 65 and they haven't had a lineup change in some 25yrs - the treatment of KK has been disgraceful but i'm sure there are 2 sides to it but when someone like Ian Hill seems to come out and call the shots in this case KK has a point (that guy hasn't written a single kin song since god knows when and as far as i know, stands in the same place every live gig swinging from side to side regardless what tempo or song!) The live band now consists of guitarists nearly 3 and 2 decades younger than the lead singer and the bass player, the drummer is also over a decade younger than than Ian and Rob. So yeah..i'm sure people would be raving about maiden records featuring Steve Harris nephew Joe Lazarus on drums and son George Harris on guitar should members leave, retire or stop playing for various reasons! Great vocals from Rob sure with the multitude of pro tools available on Andy Sneaps sound desk - latest live shows show he is no where near the mark live!
Richie Faulkner's guitar playing really shines on this album. It gives you that 1970's and 1980's Judas Priest feel to it. Rob Halford, as usual is the Metal God. Great vocals as always. The drumming by Scott Travis is also superb and helps to drive every song deep into metal madness. If you are an old fan and haven't heard this line-up of the band you should definitely do so. This albums grade is a solid A.
