This band has known many forms, and while most of us long term fans miss the baroque folk/rock sound of the mid-aughts, the new albums taking their sound back towards their grungey rock driven roots are actually quite good. The lyrics and subject matter can be quirky, sexually charged, violent, or just plain confounding, and that may turn some people off, but it's also a huge part of what has made this band a success for over a decade.
