This is a list of albums that changed the way I understand music, influenced me and inspired me to learn to play an instrument. Each one of the albums that you will find in this chart have changed my life and are part of me in some way.
I grew up listening to "Classic-Rock" (AC/DC, The Beatles, Queen, etc) and with the pass of time I began to listen to alternative and more melancholic music (Radiohead, Keane, The Strokes, etc), I also opened up to genres like Hip-Hop or electronic music (DJ Shadow, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc) so you'll see a lot of that here.
This Chart is not definitive, and my tastes are changing over time, so I will probably have to give a revision to this list in a couple of years, but for now here it is.

Esta es una lista de los álbumes que cambiaron mi forma de entender la música, tuvieron influencia en mi y me inspiraron a aprender a tocar algún instrumento. Cada uno de los álbumes que encontraras en este chart han cambiado mi vida y forman parte de mi de algún modo.
No es una lista definitiva y mis gustos van cambiando con el tiempo, probablemente tenga que darle una revisión a esta lista en un par de años, pero por lo pronto aquí lo tienen.
Yo crecí escuchando "Rock-Clásico" (AC/DC, The Beatles, Queen, etc) y con el paso del tiempo comencé a escuchar música alternativa y más melancólica (Radiohead, Keane, The Strokes, etc), también me abrí a géneros como el Hip-Hop o música electrónica (DJ Shadow, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, etc) por lo que veras mucho de eso aquí.

Este es el álbum que me hizo comprar mi primera guitarra... cada una de las canciones las aprendí a tocar y Angus Young siempre ha sido uno de mis guitarristas favoritos. Hicieron de ésto un gran tributo para Bon Scott, AC/DC se lució con este álbum.

Oasis fue mi banda favorita durante gran parte de mi adolescencia. Este me ha acompañado en tantos momentos de mi vida, que simplemente lo adoro, también fue el primer álbum que compré jajaja
Todas las canciones me encantan "Wonderwall", "Dont Look Back In Anger", "Roll With it", "Shes Electric", etc, son realmente geniales, pero "Champagne Supernova" tiene un lugar especial en mi corazón.

Built To Spill is a very underrated band, and "Perfect From Now On" is a great example of what they can offer, songs with powerful layers of guitars and a lot of creativity. The songs on this album can be a little difficult to digest, but if you give it its due time I assure you that you will not regret it.

Uno de los álbumes que me abrió las puertas del "Garage Rock". Solía tocar Last nite en mi banda de rock, y pasabamos buenos ratos jajaja le tengo mucho cariño a este álbum.
Me gustan todas las canciones pero "Someday", "Hard to Explain" and "Last Nite" están en lo más alto.

Listening to this album was a very strange experience... It didn't catch me at first, but it has something that makes it very addictive to listen to and keeps me coming back again and again. The use of acoustic guitar, combined with trumpets, organ and sound saturation, give it an interesting "noisy-folk" sound. The references to Anne Frank are very original. Perhaps the only problem with the album is that it can be a bit repetitive and tedious to listen to, but it's still highly recommended. When I started the chart i was about to put it within the top 50 and I have been liking it more with the passage of time, maybe in the future it will rise in position.

Escuchar este álbum fue una experiencia muy extraña... no me atrapó en un principio, pero tiene algo que lo hace muy adictivo de escuchar y me hace volver una y otra vez. El uso de guitarra acústica, combinada con trompetas, el órgano y la saturación del sonido, le dan un sonido interesante de folk ruidoso. Las referencias a Ana Frank son muy originales. Tal vez el único problema del álbum es que puede ser un poco repetitivo y tedioso de eschar, pero sigue siendo muy recomendable. Coldplay es una máquina de hacer hits, y este álbum es una muestra de ello, repleto de baladas melancólicas apoyadas principalmente en el piano y guitarra, con un Chris Martin cantado para sí mismo, en un intento desesperado de superar sus malos ratos.
"Politik" y "In My Place" son asombrosas, amo tocar "Clocks" y "The Scientist" en mi piano, "Green Eyes" es una hermosa canción y muy infravalorada, "A Rush Of Blood To The Head" y "Amsterdam" son un excelente final para el álbum.

Hola, te escribo como respuesta al comentario reciente que pusiste en mi perfil en mi lista de albumes. Muchas gracias por el comentario. Además, consideraré comentar cada uno de los albumes como me recomiendas.
En cuanto a tu lista, también me ha gustado, veo que es muy variada y que te gustan los álbumes clásicos de bandas.
En relación a Keane, ese disco me marcó bastante en su momento, y todavía lo disfruto cuando lo escucho. Además veía necesario meter discos españoles ya que también han tenido gran peso en mi vida. De ninguna manera voy a dejarlos fuera por ser españoles, para mi siguen siendo de gran calidad. Como ves, yo no valoro la calidad general de un disco, sino lo que me ha hecho sentir ese disco, que es lo que realmente veo importante.

This is a good 50 - I know and love almost everything here. Special shout out to Keane at number 1 and also Travis.
Let me recommend 2 albums based on what you have and your comments - Neutral Milk Hotel In An Aeroplane Over The Sea - sometimes takes folk a while to really enjoy as it is kinda tortured folk; and Bon Iver - For Emma Forever Ago, lo-fi folk.
